Mr. DeLorenzo wrote this song and the music in 1995 and originally recorded it for first time, in a remote studio the with a colleague of  his, Mr. Leo Roth on acoustic guitar.  The following year in 1996,he collaborated with another  extremely talented song writer and composer and long time friend, Mr. Matt Garbo on keyboards, for the second recording session in attempt to fatten up the song.  Mr. Garbo believed in the potential of Mr. DeLorenzo’s  song so much that he advised Pete to go into  full blown production on the song.  In 1997, Mr. DeLorenzo entered the recording studio of  ESAD Records and approached the legendary Chaz Jones to collaborate the genius talents of all his lead guitar work, percussion and arrangement of  Mr. DeLorenzo’s song.  Pete then recorded the final vocal after which Pete Produced and Published his song on his own label PKI Productions and sought out distribution for the song.  It was then sent to all major A&R Departments as well as District Managers of many record chain stores.

In 1998, with the help of a very dear friend and long time colleague, Mr. Don K. Reed of  WCBS FM 101.1 Pete was invited to do a radio interview On the air with Don on his “Doo Wop” Hour and this was the first time on major radio Pete’s song got major air play.  THE REST WAS HISTORY! Because of this interview with Mr. Don K. Reed and WCBS FM, Mr. DeLorenzo is eternally grateful and this was the beginning of The launching of “They All Remind Me Of You”.  At that point Mr. DeLorenzo had received overwhelming response from other major market stations, and again with the assistance of the Renowned Actor and Radio Personality Mr. Vinny DeVingo of Z100, the song began getting a lot of attention, and through affiliation of Z100 this led Mr. DeLorenzo to release his song exclusively to all Sam Goody’s.  Autograph signings and  Promotion went out big time.

It was at that point Mr. DeLorenzo decided to make this song “They All Remind Me Of You” the theme song for His motion picture, “The Mentor”.  In 2001, his song took the Prestigious Blair Hammond Award for Best New Male Vocalist and since then it has been Requested as a Wedding Song of which Mr. DeLorenzo performed at 7 weddings so far.  Also Mr. DeLorenzo has had the extreme honor to dedicate his song to all  of our Fallen Heroes in the wake of 911 for  various tributes. This, now being Mr. DeLorenzo’s First Hit Single, the song was most recently honored when Pete was requested to perform it in dedication to A LIVING LEGEND, MR. BEN E. KING for the Ben E. King Foundation. Also at a recent 70th Birthday Celebration Pete dedicated his song, once again to the LEGENDARY MR. FREDDIE SCOTT. In March of 2005, Mr. DeLorenzo had the extreme honor of dedicating his song on live TV on Time Warner to his real life mentor, Mr. Joe Franklin.

Most recently, his song was recognized and awarded by President George W. Bush and proclaimed “The National Mentors Day Theme Song” (National Mentors Day is held the month of January every year).  The connection and bonding of Mr. Sammie Lee Hill and Mr. DeLorenzo all began one day through an e-mail that Mr. DeLorenzo received from Mr. Hill while Pete is in the realm of Pre-Production on his motion picture, “The Mentor”.   Pete was very impressed of Mr. Hill’s credentials and at first e-mails went back and forth to each other which was followed by countless phone calls to each other and Mr. DeLorenzo was so compelled, driven and inspired by Mr. Hill’s talents and all that he stands for and his message of positively, incentive and motivation to our youth and our elderly in the same common cause that Mr. DeLorenzo also lives by and advocates, that being a peaceful and drug free world where love dominates over evil.  It was at that point Mr. DeLorenzo requested of Mr. Hill, to send him a copy of the “Mentor” song for review and possible inclusion on Mr. DeLorenzo’s soundtrack for the motion picture, “The Mentor”.  Upon listening to the song, Pete being a songwriter and recording artist himself and also holds an award for his song, “They All Remind Me Of You”, and also was acknowledged and recognized by Former President Ronald Reagan, for Pete’s humanitarianism, a strong bond developed between Pete and Mr. Hill.  They both have the same message and goals and they both stand for the same common cause which is the very theme of Mr. DeLorenzo’s film.  Pete was so moved, inspired and touched by Mr. Hill’s song that it was without a doubt Mr. DeLorenzo decided to place the “Mentor Song” for inclusion on the soundtrack as the co-theme song which will carry underneath throughout the film.  Pete felt this song must be shared with the world and through the power of God’s blessing and the strength of what can be immortalized on film, this WILL and IS coming to pass!

Shawn Klush

Recently on January of 2005, Mr. DeLorenzo had the extreme honor of being reunited with a long time friend and colleague Mr. Shawn Klush in a cameo appearance in concert in Pittston, PA.  He also had the honor of once again seeing long time fans and friends such as Shawn’s wife Bev, Shawn’s parents Eddie and Betty and during his set singing to Shawn’s two children Troy and Shelby.  Mr. DeLorenzo met Shawn Klush back in the 80’s when they were both hired to perform for the retirement party of Mr. Rocky Colivetto who was formerly with the Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles and retired as a Yankee Pinstriper.  After which through the compliments of Mr. Jimmy Bruzzetti who brought them together in the first place they began working shows and concerts throughout the Pennsylvania area and Mr. DeLorenzo was instrumental in getting Mr. Shawn Klush his first National TV shot with the “Legendary”, Joe Franklin.  Shawn and Pete to this day have always been tight friends and colleagues and there will be future concerts and road tours ahead.  Shawn Klush is not to be confused or compared to the “Drug Store” Elvis Impersonators that are out there on the circuit, but rather that he does a “Tribute” to Elvis.  It is Mr. DeLorenzo’s endorsement that, believe you me, you will not come closer to anyone that looks and sounds like Elvis more than Mr. Shawn Klush. Mr. DeLorenzo has worked with a lot of Elvis impersonators throughout his career and there are none that can compare or come close to the likes of Mr. Shawn Klush.  He is the closest that you will ever get to the real thing and carries on the memories, the look, and sound of “The King Of Rock And Roll”

On behalf of Mr. DeLorenzo, DeLorenzo Enterprises/PKI Productions, and the entire Staff, Cast and Crew of the Major Motion Picture, “The Mentor” are proud to announce that Mr. Shawn Klush has given his consent along with his Manager to appear as himself in Mr. DeLorenzo’s film, “The Mentor” as well as for inclusion on the sound track.

We applaud you and salute you Mr. Shawn Klush, Mr. Dan Lentino, Eddie and Betty, Bev, Troy and Shelby, Artie and Joyce Sposto (President of his Fan Club) and Terri Mueller (his Web Master).

Welcome aboard and to this family!
